In this study, traffic noise pollution of the Sarayönü district center was investigated. Measurements were made in order to determine the environmental noise level from 44 (forty four) different points of the district center. Noise measurements were carried out taking into account the standards related to the Type-2 noise measuring device. The noise values obtained are calculated as Leq (dBA). Percentile weighted sound levels were calculated considering various indicators (L10, L90, Leq) with special emphasis on background noise (L90) and peak values (L10). Meteorological parameters such as temperature, wind speed and humidity were also measured and recorded. It was determined that the equivalent noise measurement levels on the main street where traffic noise is experienced in the district center are in the range of 45-103 dBA in the morning, 44-90 dBA in the noon and 39-82 dBA in the evening. The average noise levels at the measurement points obtained are compared with the Environmental Noise Pollution Assessment and Management Regulation (CGDYY). All the periods were found to be in the range of 50-70 dBA when the measurement averages were taken into consideration.
